Medium voltage modular units can be effectively used in transformer distribution centers, industrial plant distribution centers and step-down or step-up switchgear connected to distribution networks up to 36 kV. All equipment such as busbars, fuses, instruments, isolation switches, circuit breakers, measuring instruments, relays, voltage and current transformers are included in the medium voltage unit as standard. Medium voltage batteries use electric current efficiently and safely. All equipment fulfills its specific tasks and ensures the balanced use of energy within the facility.

36Kv air insulated metal enclosed modular switchgears are medium voltage switchgears designed for power generation facilities, substations, wind, solar power plants, hotels, shopping malls, business centers, hospitals, airports, etc. that cannot tolerate power cuts; aiming to ensure the safety of life and property as well as operational features by controlling energy, and produced in accordance with IEC standards by completing the necessary certifications as a result of R&D studies.

RMUs used in medium voltage switchgears are important components used to ensure safety and operational efficiency in electricity transmission and distribution systems. RMUs provide interruption, control and protection of power lines at medium voltage level (usually between 3 kV and 36 kV).

Using Advantages

  • Cutting and Disconnecting: RMUs have the ability to cut and disconnect medium voltage lines. This is necessary to safely isolate lines in situations such as scheduled maintenance or emergencies.

     

  • Control and Monitoring: RMUs can monitor and control the status of the power line. They continuously monitor parameters such as voltage, current, frequency and can automatically take action according to their condition.

     

  • Protection: RMUs protect lines against electrical overcurrent, overvoltage and other harmful conditions. Such protection measures increase the safety and durability of power lines.

     

  • Automation and Remote Control: Some RMUs are equipped with automation features and remote control capabilities. This provides the possibility to monitor, control and manage electrical systems remotely.

Air Insulated Metal Clad MCL Series Switchgears are designed according to IEC 62271-200 standard for use up to 40.5kV. It always meets the needs with flexible designs suitable for projects. MCL Series Metal Clad Switchgears are manufactured for use where maximum service continuity is required. Metal Clad Switchgears are designed for indoor applications. Generally, metal clad switchgears are used to distribute electrical energy in various demanding applications such as power generation plants, electric utility substations, cement and petrochemical plants, mines, airports, railway, shopping mall and they are suitable for providing control and protection for transformers, capacitors and motors.
