MV/LV Concrete Distribution and Transformer Centers are designed according to TS EN 62271 202 (IEC 62271-202) standard and TEDAŞ MYD related specifications with concrete enclosed, monoblock, compact type features for use in system voltages up to 36 kV. All type tests required by the standard have been completed in accredited laboratories in Turkey and abroad.

Concrete Distribution and Transformer Centers consist of three sections; HV switching units section, MV distribution transformer section, LV distribution panel section. Each section has its own independent access doors and ventilation louvers. Different door and ventilation louver configurations can be made according to the needs.

Advantages

General

  • The concrete enclosure of the compact center is manufactured as a monoblock with tank/base section and side walls, except the roof, while the roof is manufactured separately and is watertight.
  • The tank/base section is suitable for the smallest bending radius of 36 kV 10×240 mm2 cable.

Structural Features

Enclosure
  • The roof of the compact center withstands a load of 2500 N/m2.
  • The enclosure is resistant to wind pressure of at least 34 m/sec.
  • Ventilation louvers and doors can withstand a mechanical shock corresponding to 20
  • Joules from inside and outside.
    (IK10) resistant.
  • Enclosure Class: 10
  • Concrete substations are proven to be safe against earthquake conditions
  • C35/45 concrete is used in accordance with TS EN 206-1 standard.
  • Concrete quality tests are periodically performed in accredited laboratories.
  • Steel reinforcements conforming to TS 708 are used.

Ventilation louvers and doors are made of 2 mm thick galvanized sheet metal painted with electrostatic powder paint.

  • The doors are designed to remain in the 120° open position and cannot be removed from the outside.
  • All locks of the compact center are flush and designed in a special structure that cannot be removed from the outside and can be locked with a single key.

HV Cell Section and Transformer Section and Transformer Section and LV Panel Section are separated by intermediate walls made of concrete.
